Integrated Design Solutions is seeking a Marketing Assistant to work in our Troy office. This individual will assist with the development of marketing communication tools, proposals and content support for the engineering and architectural departments. Our marketing assistant will collaborate with leadership, and members of the marketing team to ensure that each project receives the resources and attention needed to be successful. The ideal candidate for this role will also be responsible for handling correspondence with clients and communicating with other departments within the company to keep marketing campaigns on track.


  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team on project deliverables and timelines
  • Execute and prioritize project tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Coordination/creation of internal and external presentations
  • Assist in the preparation of proposal responses and credentials packages, coordinating with various internal/external resources to gather input to adequately package the response per the request of the client
  • Assist with editing/updating website content such as project profiles, news and statistical information
  • Drafting press releases and other marketing copy
  • Research media coverage and industry trends, and other topics as needed
  • Deliver content via LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook or company blog and analyze success of various social media campaigns
  • Assist with the coordination of events related to sponsorships, trade shows, conferences, golf outings, etc.
  • General office administration support
  • Provide assistance with the standardization of procedures, templates and forms


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, PR, Journalism or other related field of study
  • 1-5 years of experience in a similar role preferred
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills
  • Exceptional organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and discretion
  • Self starter and ability to work accurately and effectively with leadership with multiple deadlines and stakeholders
  • Experience working in A/E industry is a plus
  • Social media experience is preferred
